From our Pastor

As we focus on the New year with Faith United, I want to present some “Common
Themes” we should be focused on.
- New Beginnings Welcoming the New Year, setting spiritual goals, and finding
strength in Christ for daily challenges.
- Continuing the “Work of Christmas” Moving from the holiday celebration to
practical faith in action … helping the needy, helping the broken, bringing peace.
- Spiritual Growth / Scripture Encouraging engagement with specific Bible passages
(like psalms for prayer or John for Jesus’ ministry) to deepen our faith. Or engage in
group Bible study or a discipleship group, small group, study weekly.
- Community / Service Calling for mutual support, compassion, and active service
within the church and broader community, often linking the others. (Matthew 25 –
feeding the hungry)
- Church Life / Updates Sharing news on “new projects” – “new events.” Celebrating
new ministry opportunities – our communities.
- Addressing Life’s Realities Acknowledging suffering; mental health; grief; and
offering HOPE through Christ’s presence in difficult times

Whew … Makes me tired thinking of a list like this.
However, with Jesus all is possible !!!
What a Blessing we have in “Faith United” that we can accomplish “TOGETHER.”
So, stay warm; stay together; stay with Jesus.
